How to be a Graphic Designer?

I am an aspiring graphic designer currently here at Dubai. I am a university undergraduate with Multimedia Arts course. But i trained here in dubai as a graphic designer for 1 month. Any tips or advice how to have my first job here in dubai or in any part of UAE? My specialties are typography, hand lettering, lay-outing, type poster and anything that includes typography and lay-outing.
