Passports and iPhone 7+ missing at Dubai airport?

;s currently at the Dubai airport, but lost her Taiwanese and US passports, along with her iPhone. She was at one of the washrooms but left these things in the stall (ridiculous, I know) while she went to brush her teeth. Upon realizing that she didn’t have her passports and phone with her, she went back into the stall to check, but by then it appears as though someone had removed those items from the stall. Apparently the washroom was extremely crowded.

She’s reported it to the police, checked at the lost and found, and is currently checking to see if maybe someone’s thrown the passports away in nearby trash cans. (Though unlikely since passports can fetch good money)

What else can we do?
