According to the recent estimations, MENA (Middle Eastern and African) travelers have rated UAE and Philippines to be among the top 10 destinations to travel at. Wego releases “MENA Traveler Destination Leaderboards”
Wego’s newest estimations has showed how many people traveled to each destination in 2018:
- Egypt has been traveled the most by the MENA travelers.
- India jumped from 4th to 2nd place this year.
- Saudi Arabia stood 3rd while Turkey remained 4th.
- UAE took its position among the 5th most visited place.
- The Philippines jumped from 10th to 8th place this year as well.
The UAE has been stuck on the same place as it was before due to the fact that a lot of people are coming from Saudi Arabia from there. Moreover, Philippines jumped due to the fact that the Filipino government allowing them to leave for Ramadan. They have formed new airline routes for their benefit.
