Our current chairman, Mr. Laxman J. Ramsinghani founded Al Rama International Traders in the year 1976.The company was incorporated under the auspices of the late H.H Sheikh Rashid, fondly known as the founder of modern Dubai. What started off as a small steel trading company with three employees, has grown into one of the largest trading houses in the region, with offices in five emirates and employing more than one thousand five hundred people.Our main business interest revolves around the steel trade. We stock De-formed Bars and A wide variety of Structural Steel. The company now stocks nearly every type of finished steel, including Seamless piping and Stainless Steel. Over the years, several business were added into the company portfolio.Today, AL Rama is the sole distributer for 3M window films in the U.A.E. The Chemical trading business is one of the largest in the country. Timber is brought in from all over the world, to ensure the best variety is available under one roof. We supply Cement as well as Aggregates, to all major construction sites in the country, through our own fleet of trunks.As Dubai continues to grow by leaps and bounds, AL Rama too shall continue its march Forward.
