Employment Woes

GF doesn't use Reddit so posting on her behalf...

She's been living in Dubai for the last 3 years but recently moved to Abu Dhabi due to work.

She had been looking for a job for 3 months and got her first job offer from Abu Dhabi which she accepted since she was feeling hopeless. After signing, 2 job offers from Dubai came in but they were rejected since she has signed to work for the company in Abu Dhabi.

Then problems happened...

  1. Abu Dhabi company did not tell her processing is 8 weeks - this is also why she didn't sign for the other 2 companies in Dubai as she didn't want to wait for long (running out of cash to pay rent etc)
  2. Salary is delayed - she has not received her first month's salary
  3. She extends an hour or two DAILY for unpaid overtime
  4. Do not eat on time, no proper break times, sometimes lunch is 2 hours later than usual due to the very heavy work load
  5. Other staff who have been in the company far longer than her confirms the situation on salary and unpaid overtime work and those are leaving

She wants out. What is the best way to deal her situation without legal issues? She has signed a contract for 2 years, but she's still on probationary period (until 6 months) but she says she cannot handle it far longer than 3 months. She's looking for new posts on different companies and will likely move when opportunity comes.

TLDR; GF works in Abu Dhabi but working conditions are toxic. Wants out before regularization. What is the best way out without legal issues?
