Can you eat pork in Dubai?
Yes but it’s not very common. While pork is a staple in most Chinese restaurants, many Dubai Chinese restaurants have only beef, lamb, poultry and seafood. There are some restaurants such as Lamesa Asian buffet at the Asiana hotel, and Der Keller German restaurant that offer a number of pork dishes.
Domestically, you can purchase pork-based products in most supermarkets in the ‘Non Muslim’ section, and this is only for private consumption at home.
Dining Out, there are some restaurants with licences to serve pork - although these are expensive and relatively rare.
Some restaurants currently serving pork products are Dubai Marina Yacht Club, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Le Royale Meridien and Reform Social and Grill.
Brunches sometimes serve pork, although it has to be a completely excluded section.
