Profile: Debbas Group started its manufacturing activities in the mid 1950s when an electrical assembly workshop was established to convert 220 fluorescent luminaires imported from Europe into 110V which was the standard voltage in the Middle East. Progressively sheet metal working machines and a small paint shop were added to the electrical assembly shop, this establishing the core of a lighting fitting factory.
