Profile: Index Exchange was established on the 30th of January 1976 as Habib Exchange Company LLC having been granted the first license in the UAE to conduct remittances, to exchange foreign currency and to issue travelers cheques. The company commenced operations with branches in Sharjah and Dubai and then expanded into Abu Dhabi and Al Ain through the acquisition of Habib Al Mansour Exchange.In 2014 Habib Exchange was fully acquired by Al Hail Holding and Global Development Group (GDG) and rebranded as Index Exchange.
